Shakespeare fishing tackle
Over the years, Shakespeare's Ugly Stik rod in 1976 was the first to feature a clear tip and to use the Howald Process construction, which made these rods almost unbreakable. Shakespeare's carp fishing reels and rods feature composite blank which has great casting power and in combination with the SW proof zirconium guides for perfect shape and easy to clean high density EVA handles.
High performance rods and reels
In terms of the Shakespeare's rods and reels, Shakespeare also use construction processes which mean their rods and reels are highly effective. The Howald Process still makes their rods practically indestructible. The process means that the carp rods are constructed by combining a central spiral of fibres with parallel fibres encapsulated in polyester resin. What it means in practice is that the rod can bend double without breaking. For durability, strength, perfect action and balance, you cannot go wrong with Shakespeare tackle.
