Penn's Surfblaster III 8000 Longcast Sea Fishing Reel is the reel for any lovers of surfcasting. It is made to allow for extreme distance casting, and is known as being up there with the smoothest performing reels on the market. The shallow conical shaped spool is tailor made for consistent long distance casting. The extra slow oscillation speed means that you will be getting more rotations for every one turn of the handle. In addition, the quick turn drag system along with the gear ratio means that you can enjoy an extremely high winding power and retrieval rate.
The aluminium construction of the long stroke spool means that extreme strength and durability is achieved whilst maintaining a light weight. The iconic HT-100 drag is there as with the older Penn models. This system redefined the industry standard when it was first produced, and it is still among the most reliable of drag systems. Its ultra low friction carbon fibre washers will reduce the chances of your line breaking when you need it most. The large T-knob handle will additionally give you a great feeling of comfort, grip and control as you use the reel.
The 5+1 sealed stainless steel ball bearings will reduce friction among all the moving parts, meaning not only that you will get smooth performance in each use, but also that wear will be minimised. For this reason, the reel will last for longer. To increase the lifespan of this Surfblaster III 8000, Penn have also made the reel salt water resistant: corrosion need no longer be a concern. As with other reels in the Surfblaster range, this one additionally comes with a spare deep spool.

We post up to 12.30pm each day, if you require next day delivery for a delivery please call the shop to make sure this can be done. Bulky items over the value of £60 will be sent via Fedex or ParcelForce Next Day courier service.
Delivery is charged as priced on each order. Large items orders weighing over 2kg will usually be sent on next day delivery requiring a signature upon delivery. Smaller items will be despatched either by Royal Mail 1st Class or a recorded service value dependant. Once you have placed an order it will be dispatched the same day or the next day depending on the time the order was placed. If you wish to cancel your order after it has been dispatched, you will be charged for both delivery and collection cost. If you are unavailable when our delivery partner tries to deliver your order, they will usually try to deliver again the next working day or they will drop a card in to offer you a collection from a local collection point. If you should refuse delivery of goods, or are not available to accept the delivery on both delivery attempts, you will be required to cover any extra costs incurred. All quoted delivery prices are for most UK Mainland addresses. Northern Ireland (BT), Isle of Wight (PO30-37), Isle of Man (IM), Scottish Highlands and Orkney Isles (PA, ML, EH, KA, G, KY, PH, DD, AB, IV, KW), Outer Hebrides and the Shetland Isles (HS, ZE) will incur additional charges and may also experience delivery delays; morning, Saturday and "next working day" deliveries are optional and will also incur additional charges, please contact before buying for a quote on postage if any of these apply to you.

Availability

Returns

If you are unhappy with the goods received we will refund them if they are sent back at the customer's expense in new resaleable condition within 7 working days along with the original receipt. We suggest for your own protection you use 1st class registered post. Any refunds will be issued once we have received the goods, in there original condition. This refund only includes the total of goods sent not the delivery charge. We will not charge a restocking fee for returned items. Any goods with manufacturing faults on arrival will be replaced or refunded.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
