This MAG4 14ft ground medium heavy beach rod has been specifically designed so that it can pair up to great effect with Penn's highly popular MAG4 casting reel range. The 14ft mixed beach rod is ideal for surfcasting. It is medium heavy with a fast rod action. The stiffness and strength of the high modulus 40T lightweight carbon blank will give you the speed and the power to bring in the larger fish, as well as the control you need in windier coastal conditions. The full shrink wrap handle gives you extra grip thanks to its anti-slip properties; this material also helps with protection from rust. This is another small but crucial detail which will in turn maximise the level of control which you feel whilst angling.
The Penn MAG4 14ft rod has been built to thrive in sea fishing conditions. The Fuji Alconite guides for example not only offer great smoothness through their abrasion resistant properties, but they are also sea water corrosion proof. Rod strength is further enhanced by Penn's X-wrap carbon technology. As well as serving the strength of the rod, this technology decreases rod twisting, making for accurate casting and controlled rod movement.
When you do start getting bites, the tip highlight will increase the clarity of bite detection, heightening the visibility even in low light. A precision engineered Seaguide sliding reel seat is additionally there to allow you to change reel positions for casting and for fishing so that you can optimise your performance and comfort.

We post up to 12.30pm each day, if you require next day delivery for a delivery please call the shop to make sure this can be done. Bulky items over the value of £60 will be sent via Fedex or ParcelForce Next Day courier service.
Delivery is charged as priced on each order. Large items orders weighing over 2kg will usually be sent on next day delivery requiring a signature upon delivery. Smaller items will be despatched either by Royal Mail 1st Class or a recorded service value dependant. Once you have placed an order it will be dispatched the same day or the next day depending on the time the order was placed. If you wish to cancel your order after it has been dispatched, you will be charged for both delivery and collection cost. If you are unavailable when our delivery partner tries to deliver your order, they will usually try to deliver again the next working day or they will drop a card in to offer you a collection from a local collection point. If you should refuse delivery of goods, or are not available to accept the delivery on both delivery attempts, you will be required to cover any extra costs incurred. All quoted delivery prices are for most UK Mainland addresses. Northern Ireland (BT), Isle of Wight (PO30-37), Isle of Man (IM), Scottish Highlands and Orkney Isles (PA, ML, EH, KA, G, KY, PH, DD, AB, IV, KW), Outer Hebrides and the Shetland Isles (HS, ZE) will incur additional charges and may also experience delivery delays; morning, Saturday and "next working day" deliveries are optional and will also incur additional charges, please contact before buying for a quote on postage if any of these apply to you.

If you are unhappy with the goods received we will refund them if they are sent back at the customer's expense in new resaleable condition within 7 working days along with the original receipt. We suggest for your own protection you use 1st class registered post. Any refunds will be issued once we have received the goods, in there original condition. This refund only includes the total of goods sent not the delivery charge. We will not charge a restocking fee for returned items. Any goods with manufacturing faults on arrival will be replaced or refunded.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
